Greetings! I’m Dra. Reyes, a historian of art and material culture and museum professional who has a passion for community organizing and advocacy. I’m an Assistant Professor of Art History and Museum Studies at ASU.
I believe that art has the power to reflect our values and ignite social change, which is why I'm committed to making community education both engaging and accessible as the co-director of El Laboratorio.
As a first gen college student that attained my PhD as a single parent, I know firsthand how intersecting issues affect equity.
